Laborales
Esta serie plantea la relación entre tiempos empleados, oficios, remuneración.
"Jornada laboral de mi madre" fue elaborado en las 7 h. 15 min. que emplea mi madre en trabajar en un día.
"Jornada laboral de un bedel" muestra el mismo mecanismo, esta vez sobre la pared del Decanato de la Facultad de BB.AA. de Granada, con un tiempo de dibujo de 8h.
La "semana laboral" se basa en el tiempo que trabajaba como albañil, antes de comenzar mis estudios en la Universidad, coincidiendo con la labor de mi padre. Dibujé 9 horas cada día de Lunes a Jueves, y 6 h. el Viernes. La obra cuesta diez veces la cuantía que ganaba en una semana.
La última serie muestra billetes dibujados en el tiempo que mi hermana emplea en ganarlos. Los billetes de 5 € fueron dibujados en 50 min., el de 10 € en 1h. 40min. y el de 20 € en 3h. 20 min., sumando una jornada laboral completa. La obra concluye al ser vendida en la galería por una cuantía diez veces mayor a la que muestra la imagen.
"Labor"
This serie relates time spent, jobs and remuneration.
"The working day of my mother" was made during the 7h. 15min. that my mother spend working in a day.
"The working day of a janitor" shows the same strategy, but made over the dean´s office wall in the Granada Art University, during 8h.
"Working week" was made taking the time I worked before studing Fine Arts, as a bricklayer, as my father. I drew 9 hours per day since Monday until Thursday, and 6h more on Friday. The work costs ten times more the money I earned in a week working in construction.
The last serie shows banknotes drawn in the time that my sister spend in earn them. The 5€ ones were made in 50min., the 10€ in 1h 40 min. and the 20€ in 3h 20min., becoming the salarium of one day. The work concludes being sold trough the gallery, for 10 times more that the image shows.
